  • Scan the approach and loiterers
  • Move through without stopping
  • Step off the centerline inside
  • Identify your next exit

Lobbies & Elevators

  • Let others board ahead
  • Stand near the panel, face the door
  • Know the exits in the lobby
  • Take the stairs when you can

Parking & Vehicles

  • Keys in hand, eyes up
  • Scan rows and gaps
  • Check the back seat
  • Lock the doors and move

Stairwells & Landings

  • Vary the stairwell when possible
  • Pause at landings; look and listen
  • Keep one hand free
  • Move quietly to hear

Corridors & Blind Corners

  • Walk off the centerline
  • Take corners wide
  • Use reflections to pre-clear
  • Keep your reaction distance

Residential Approach

  • Vary routes and arrival times
  • Read the last hundred metres
  • Know your block's normal
  • Drive past and reset if it's wrong
